About the Role At Hami System Sharif, we build large-scale national systems in payments, remote identity verification, and capital markets. We are looking for a strong AI Engineer to make these products smarter, from image-based identity verification and fraud detection to data analysis and the use of language models. In this role, we expect you to own the design, training, evaluation, and deployment of machine learning models in production, and, alongside the backend and product teams, to turn AI ideas into real, dependable product capabilities. We are looking for someone with both a strong scientific foundation and the engineering skills to bring models to production, who cares about accuracy and reliability in sensitive financial systems and isn't afraid of real-world, messy data. Responsibilities • Design, train, and evaluate machine learning and deep learning models tailored to product needs • Develop computer vision solutions for remote identity verification (face recognition, liveness detection, ID document OCR) • Design and implement fraud and anomaly detection models for transactions • Apply language models (LLMs) and NLP in products, such as intelligent assistants, semantic search, and document processing • Design data collection, cleaning, and preparation pipelines together with the backend team • Deploy models to production as services (model serving) and monitor their performance and drift • Implement MLOps practices, including data and model versioning, experiment tracking, and retraining • Optimize models for accuracy, response time, and resource usage at real-world scale • Define evaluation metrics and tests for models and document experiment results • Follow security, privacy, and data regulation requirements when designing AI solutions • Work with product managers to identify opportunities for AI and assess their feasibility • Research and evaluate new models, tools, and papers and bring the findings to the team • Participate in code reviews and apply software engineering standards to model code • Present results and analytical reports to management and stakeholders in plain language Requirements • At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field • Strong command of Python and libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, scikit-learn, pandas, and NumPy • Deep understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals, statistics, and model evaluation • Hands-on experience in at least one of computer vision, NLP / LLMs, or anomaly detection • Experience taking models to production and serving them as APIs (e.g., FastAPI) • Familiarity with Docker, Git, and Linux fundamentals • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large and unstructured datasets • Ability to analyze problems, design experiments, and interpret results • Proficiency in Office and Google Workspace tools • Working knowledge of English for reading papers and technical documentation Nice to Have • Experience with identity verification, face recognition, liveness detection, or OCR for Persian documents • Experience with financial or transactional data, or fintech and banking systems • Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, DVC, Airflow, or Kubeflow • Experience fine-tuning language models and implementing RAG • Published papers, competition participation (Kaggle), or a portfolio available on GitHub • Experience working in growing organizations or fast-paced environments What We Value • Ownership: You take responsibility for how the model performs in production, not just its accuracy in a notebook. • Scientific Rigor: You test claims with experiments and data and report results carefully and honestly. • Engineering Mindset: You write model code like product code: clean, tested, and maintainable. • Business Understanding: You make sure you understand what real user or business problem each model solves. • Continuous Learning: You keep pace with the rapid changes in AI and share what you learn with the team. شرایط کاری و مزایا : • فرصت تجربه‌اندوزی و بستری مناسب برای ارتقای مهارت و دانش شغلی • بیمه تامین اجتماعی و تکمیلی از روز اول شروع به کار • محیط کاری پویا، حرفه‌ای و دوستانه • امکان ارتقا و پیشرفت کاری • موقعیت جغرافیایی بهینه و در دسترس با وسایل حمل و نقل عمومی به تمامی نقاط شهر • محل کار: تهران - طرشت (نزدیک ایستگاه مترو شریف) • فرصت عالی برای امریه سربازی آقایان (غائبین)
